For this third entry in the series, I want to share what happened after our digital growth…and what came next.
Our First In-Person Event
At the end of September, we hosted our first in-person event on St. Simons Island, Georgia. We had a fantastic turnout: about 40 attendees and nearly a dozen educators and vendors.
What made the event special wasn’t just the numbers—it was the environment we created together.
We had lifeguards, pool operators, water aerobics instructors, aquatic managers, and educators all in the same room, sharing real experiences around topics like risk, revenue, staffing, programming, and leadership. The small-group format and panel discussions made the conversations meaningful and practical.
Where All Things Aquatic Is Heading
This collaborative spirit is exactly the direction our community is moving.
We recently passed 3,000 members, but what truly matters is the level of engagement. You all share real stories, ask hard questions, and offer honest solutions. That’s the heartbeat of this group.
